This is an Associate degree transfer-oriented program, with a focus on Accounting, Economics, Law, and General Business, which will prepare you for upper-division entry into a bachelor degree-granting institution. After receiving your Associate degree, you may also find excellent starting level job opportunities in the Financial & Accounting fields, Economics, research and legal-services fields, and the wide-range of general business careers in marketing, management, and international business. As you continue through the University level you will continue to find expanded career opportunities with higher income potential.
A transfer degree acts as a roadmap and has been designed and approved to provide you direct access into a CSU or UC, provided you have fulfilled the 60 units of required coursework.

You will notice that there are a few courses that every degree requires because they give a strong foundation to whichever career path that you might choose. As you complete these courses you will become much more in tune with an area that you would like to pursue. The most important of these courses are GBUS 5 - Introduction to Business because this is where you will get a birds-eye-view of the business environment.
