Charles Bradford Cole, age 66, of Hickory Creek, passed away after a lengthy illness, on Saturday, February 11th, 2017, at Baylor Scott and White Plano. Charles passed, surrounded by loved ones. Mary Cole, his wife of almost 23 years, His brother Randy Cole, and others were by his side as he slipped peacefully into the Arms of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Charles was born February 6 th , 1951 in Dallas, Texas, to Charles Bradford Cole Sr., and Pamela Morgan Cole, who proceeded him in death. Charles married Mary Ashley Cole on April 2 nd , 1994, in Rockwall, Texas.
Charles worked for the Rail Road, which he loved, for 20 years. He was an Operator Clerk and Yard Master.
Charles was a graduate of Justin F. Kimball High School, in Dallas, TX. He was a star athlete in every sport he participated in, but his favorites were baseball and football. Injuries halted what many believed would have been outstanding college and pro careers. He loved the Rangers and the Cowboys most, but would watch any game, any time.
Charles is survived by his wife, Mary Ashley Cole. His brothers Richard Kelly Cole, Randy Wayne Cole and his family. Daughter Michelle Fass and her family. His son’s Tommy Cole Smiley, Matthew Cole, and their families. His step Son Richard Brunson, step Daughter Sharon Brunson Webb and their families. His Uncle Leonard Morgan, Aunt Margaret Winters and Rose Marie Johnson, as well as several Grand Children, Great Grand Children and his only God Daughter, Skylar Richardson.
